BIOGRAPHY

Born in 2004, after several line-up changes, Planethard began touring the best clubs of northern Italy, in the early days basically as an hard rock cover band.

In March 2006 Planethard began recording the first real album with Alessandro Del Vecchio (Eden’s Course/Edge of Forever) as artistic producer;

October 21th 2006: the first CD Crashed on Planethard, ten songs of pure hard rock, was presented to the Italian press at Solid Groove Studio in Ghiaie di Bonate Sopra;

In January 2007 thanks to Live s.r.l., Planethard had the great opportunity to open the show for the Swedish legend Europe. The concert took place on the January 23rd at Alcatraz in Milan;

June 2nd 2007, Planethard had the honour to open the Gods of Metal, the most important hard & heavy event of the year in Italy, 2007 edition, where they shared the stage with giants of rock like Motley Crue, Scorpions, Thin Lizzy and Velvet Revolver;

16th May 2008: Planethard Support Act for Y&T;

19th September 2008: Planethard Headliner at Metal Disorder 2008;

26th November 2008: Planethard Support Act for Backyard Babyes;

27th November 2008: Planethard Support Act for White Lion;

9th January 2009: Planethard Support Act for Tygers of Pan Tang Italian Tour;

30th January 2009: Planethard Support Act for Tyketto;

20th Febraury 2009: Planethard Support Act for Richie Kotzen;

July 2011: Planethard records the second album ‘No Deal’, with Alessandro Del Vecchio (Eden’s Course/Edge of Forever) as artistic producer, Matteo Magni as sound engineer, mixing has been done by Fabrizio Grossi at the ‘Noize Factory/Command’  in Los Angele, California;

14 February 2012: ‘No Deal’ Album release (RNC Music);

23 June 2012: Gods of Metal 2012 with Motley Crue, Slash & Myles Kennedy, The Darkness, Gotthard, Hardcore Superstar & more;

25 November 2012: Opening act for Gotthard @ Alcatraz, Milano;

October 2013; line-up change with new singer Davide Merletto.
